"Mr. Hauserman afforded me the opportunity to be a
volunteer director for two plays for the Five Pfennig Playhouse, both of which
were entries in USAREUR-wide competitions. Through his patience and
mentorship, he enabled me to realize my "vision" and direct two
successful and award winning productions. As I depart the community, I
feel proud to have been associated with Five Pfennig Theater and to have
had the pleasure to work with William Hauserman, whom I now consider a friend.
I wish future volunteer directors success and hope that their experiences
are as rewarding as mine were."
